Whale watching is not as mild of a sport as watching birds that’s for sure. Boat captain Cici Sayers and a passenger, Dale Frink found this out the hard way.
These two were boating in a small vessel off the coast of San Diego when a massive blue whale decided to emerge from beneath their boat.
As it rose from the depths of the sea it nailed their 23ft liner and capsized them throwing the two people into the sea. Of course Dale Frink was only worried about the safety of his camera as he stared the gigantic blue whale in the face.
Both came out of this unharmed, but the overturned boat had to be towed back to shore by the Coast Guard.
This video shows recovered footage of the incident, lucky for us we get to relive it over and over without getting wet!
