Tired of taking the Stairs?

Are you tired of taking the stairs?

Here’s an interesting fact you may be interested in if you hate taking the stairs.

The first escalator, or inclined moving stairway, was installed by Jesse W. Reno of the U.S.A. in 1891 as a carnival ride of sorts, at Coney Island in Brooklyn, New York City, USA. The device had a vertical rise of 7 ft. and an inclination of 25 degrees. It ran at a speed of 75 ft. per minute.

Weeeeee, wouldn’t that be a fun ride!
